Our responsibilities as trainers

 

• To prepare you to work as a groomer.

• To provide dogs for you to work on, which will include where possible a variety of breeds and temperaments.

• To provide you with appropriate supervision at all levels of learning.

• To help and encourage you to learn the skills of grooming as laid out in your Achievements/competencies worksheet.

• To provide additional Training Aids to assist you in learning new skills and enhance/assist your career as a professional groomer.

• To support and encourage you throughout your training and beyond.

• To give you an insight into a busy working salon.

Your responsibilities as learners

• To use your time wisely, making the most of each day to learn your new skills.

• To listen to each instruction, and if you are at all unclear please just ask your tutor to explain again.

• To follow instructions at all times.

• To treat every dog with kindness and respect, ensuring its safety at all times. Just Fur Dogz has a no-cruelty policy and any student found ill-treating a dog will be dismissed from the course immediately with no refund on course fees or associated fees.

• To work in harmony with your colleagues and tutors, preserving a non-confrontational environment throughout each day of the course. We have a zero-tolerance policy towards teachers and other students. Any violation of this can lead to dismissal from the course with no refunds on course fees or associated fees.

• If you are unable to attend on a given day due to illness, please advise Just Fur Dogz staff ASAP.

• If you decide after starting the course that it is not for you and decide to stop the training no refunds will be given on course fees or any associated fees.
