Just Fur Dogz Training Academy Courses can be taken on a full-time or flexible basis throughout the year. We offer a great opportunity to learn in a real working, professional dog grooming business alongside our team, and gain one of the industry’s top dog grooming qualifications.
If you are inexperienced, the initial days of your training will focus on learning the essential handling and preparation skills required to enable you to work with all breeds and coat types. You will learn how to safely bathe and dry, understand dog health and welfare and be guided in how to ensure your own health and safety. As your training progresses, you will learn clipping and scissoring skills from everyday pet trims to breed standards, leading to your independent completion of a variety of full grooms.
Every day you are on site with us we will focus on hands-on practical learning. You will be provided with theory learning resources and need to be willing to study at home to achieve the knowledge to complement your practical work and accumulate the guided learning hours you will need to complete your chosen iPET Network qualification.
